Decisions worth testing

Verify signed events, deduplicate by event ID, quarantine conflicting payloads, reject stale versions and bound retries before operator review.

Evidence and limits

Local tests and recovery snapshots are recorded. The first load run missed its latency target, and a database-connection timeout led to a reconnect-backoff fix. Sustained operation and real outage injection remain unverified; this is not a production delivery.

Dated implementation evidence

  1. Define the scope, failure cases and acceptance criteria for a synthetic event workflow.

  2. Implement the durable inbox, duplicate checks and bounded worker recovery.

Verification and limits

The local review records a missed latency target and a worker connection-timeout exit, followed by a reconnect-backoff fix and two focused tests. The original failed snapshot was retained. This page reports that record; it does not claim a new benchmark or production outage validation. Source is not publicly linked.

AI collaboration: attribution boundary

The records below show implementation and review outcomes. They do not record a complete prompt history or identify human versus AI authorship of individual changes. Commit history alone cannot establish that split; no percentage of authorship is claimed.
